I heard it takes some people 3 months to design a great website. If I learn Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver?

Will I be ready to design my own website? how long will it take to learn?I heard it takes some people 3 months to design a great website. If I learn Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver?
Designing a great website is not a matter of time and software knowledge - it's a matter of skill and ability. Plenty of people are quite able to make a website but the look bloody awful and just don't work well.

Asides from that - I've been designing websites for over 10 years and am still learning, there's always something new to discover, new technologies emerge every year and you need to learn up on them pretty quickly.I heard it takes some people 3 months to design a great website. I don't think anyone can answer that. Depends on how fast you learn and what you can do. Once you go ahead and try and see if you can catch on, then you should be able to finish your website in no time.
If you learn Flash and Dreamweaver, which are hard as hell to learn, you would definetly be qualified to design your own website. My estimate is that with a good teacher it would take about 3 months to learn, but alone it would take atleast 4 to 6 months. Never know though, you may prove me wrong!
